Exercise classes

Local exercises classes are held in the Allendale area

Aiming to improve core stability and muscle tone, plus some stretching exercises to improve flexibility. Aimed at the general public. Helps all age groups. Equipment used, swiss ball, mat, resistance band.

Having good core stability enables you to use your body correctly and efficiently, helping to eradicate muscle imbalances, improve posture, prevent injuries and premature wear and tear at various sites around the body.

Examples of the type of thing that the classes can make a difference to include:

  • Back problems, as weak, damaged areas become supported by the natural muscular corset.
  • Sports people who can improve their performance as they learn to use the muscles more effectively.
  • Postural problems, neck problems, shoulder problems, weak stomach muscles
  • And many more...

It’s often difficult to carry out exercises at home due to lack of time and motivation.

If you would like to attend a class, please ring or email me for further details. To attend a class you need to be able to get up and down from the floor unaided and have reasonably good balance.

This type of work could also be done on an individual personal training basis if required.

Please note:
It is not possible to address individual musculoskeletal problems in the class. An appointment at the clinic should be made for this purpose, where a thorough assessment can be carried out for diagnosis and treatment.
