About Me

I trained at Newcastle School of Physiotherapy, (at the old Polytechnique as it was then) and qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1983.

My career began in the NHS, working as a physio in hosiptal wards and physiotherapy departments for several years.

I began working in private practice in 1990, running a busy, city centre clinic for 19 years. I am now based solely at the Allen Valleys clinic

It is not necessary to have a GP referral, although if you are using health insurance you usually need a GP referral letter. Please check with your insurance company.

I am listed as a treatment provider for all the major health insurance companies such as PPP, BUPA, etc.
